The Lean Supply Chain Professional Certificate Program at Georgia Tech

The Lean Supply Chain Professional Certificate Program at Georgia Tech

Thousands of logistics and supply chain management professionals have advanced their knowledge - and company profitability - with the education they obtained through the courses offered by the Supply Chain and Logistics Institute at Georgia Tech. LeanCor has partnered with Georgia Tech to provide the Lean Supply Chain Professional Certificate Program. This executive learning program is geared toward committed logistics and supply chain professionals who want to optimize their supply chain.

The Results-Based Certificate Program

Lean supply chain professionals are focused on problem identification and problem solving at the root cause. Therefore, to become a lean supply chain professional, we must understand and apply problem solving skills.

To accomplish this important aspect of the education process, participants will complete two lean projects during the time between class courses. The projects will be focused on applying lessons learned during the course. In addition, participants will report-out upon the projects during the next classroom session. This report-out processes allows participants to build leadership skills and learn best practices from other attending organizations. This application-based strategy strives to guarantee immediate return on investment for all participants completing the program.

Measurable Results: Think, Act and Lead

The purpose of this certificate program is to transform the way supply chain professionals think, act and lead. Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to develop, lead and implement strategic and tactical elements of lean principles in the supply chain. We are committed to building individuals into serious, results-based lean supply chain professionals. The deliverable is to successfully execute lean in the supply chain and achieve quantum results.

Measurable focus areas for results include:

  • Reduced total cost of ownership
